“Go and search the cars now!” I ordered Harrison's warriors, walking straight to the car to make sure they didn't tamper with anything while searching.
Harrison seem to flinch from how determined I sounded while talking to his men. I turned briefly to Nyx, I couldn't help but notice the subtle change in her demeanor. She seemed to have suddenly withdraw herself, her eyes cast downward as if avoiding my gaze. I knew her well enough to recognize the signs of distress, but she wouldn't talk to me about it.
