Kieran paced around the living room in anger. He wasn't destructive, but he was panting hard as he walked a short distance. I left him, watching him puff angrily as that'd probably be the best thing for either of us at the moment.
“How long did this nonsense start?” Kieran growled. “When exactly?”
“Twenty four hours after you left.” Jubril responded. “At first, the attacks were pretty slow, and then, they just never stopped coming. Rather, they increased in number.”
“The things I will do to Caleb and his cohorts.” Kieran growled.
“Calm down, baby.” I said through a mind link, and he turned his face to look at me. Just like the sweet lover he is, he walked over and sat by my side.
