I wanted Nyx to be around me at all times but the other alphas wanted a conversation with only alphas.
"Nyx, Nicholas will stay with you till I'm back." I said to Nyx. I pulled her close to myself. I desperately wanted to kiss her, hug her, do everything that could be done but I stayed patient. I felt her hold me back a little when I wanted to leave.
"Don't stay too long." She said with her beautifully thin voice.
"I'll try." I said. "Once this is done, I'll never leave your side."
"Okay." She responded.
I turned to look at Nicholas.
"Do as she says and ensure she's safe." I ordered.
