Nyx's POV
“I'll be back for you, and it won't take time.” Caleb said, walking out of the prison. I did not bother saying anything that'd make him come back to do something I would hate. Not when Kieran is so close.
I held the door of the prison cell, waiting for the moment Kieran would burst the door open. My anticipation grew with every second, and soon enough it happened.
Kieran kicked the door open, and my eyes fell on him. All the fear I felt disappeared almost immediately, and I could breathe again.
“Kieran!” I screamed with joy, as he ran inside. He broke the door open, and we hugged. I took a very deep sniff of him.
I've missed his scent badly.
