Nyx's POV I woke up with a head-splitting ache, the kind that made my skull feel like it was cracking open from the inside. A dull, throbbing pain pulsed at the back of my head, spreading like fire through my nerves. My body felt heavy, sluggish, as if I had been thrown into a deep pit of exhaustion and left there to rot.
