The bell rang a few minutes later and I was already grabbing my bag and getting out of my seat before Mr Granger could dismiss us. My chair scraped back with a screech as Maya turned to me.
“Why the rush? Are you that hungry for lunch?” Maya laughed at me and I nodded.
“Yeah. But I gotta use the bathroom first. Meet you at lunch. I’ll be just a bit.” I said as I was already sprinting out of the class before the hallway became flooded with students.
