I sat down heavily in front of Maya and Lila as I tried to eat my food but my mind was racing with the new information I had just found and the threats from Mia and Tasha. I suddenly wished they had attacked me to my face, it was better than being cautious now and looking over my shoulder waiting for them to strike.
“I mean..” Lila was saying looking at Maya with a gleam in her eyes. “..he’s actually nicer than I thought he would be. He actually listened when I was teaching him. He really wants to learn. And he has the ugliest handwriting ever” she giggled.
Maya smiled at her softly. “He looks nice. I always figured he was the loud and cocky type. They all are. But Elliot hasn’t really been into any sort of trouble so I’m sure he’s as sweet as you think he is.”
“Sweet?” I blink
