A shiver ran down my spine and I struggled to stay standing. He looked down at his nails briefly before meeting my eyes again.
Those blue eyes had a playful gleam in them. “And not just you. Your pack too.”
I stopped breathing for a second, my stomach violently turning as I realized the weight of what I had done.
Kai’s eyes gleamed with something cruel. “Maybe Lila could use a little discipline.” He said.
I froze and I started to shake my head.
“No…No..” I whispered. Not Lila. She had done nothing wrong!
“She’s weak. I’ve seen her. The way she moves. She appears to be even weaker than you. Soft. Timid. I bet she’ll break even easily.”
My chest tightened and my vision blurred as I suddenly felt very tired. “Please..” I muttered under my breath. And I hated how weak I sounded.
