I blocked the balcony exit with furniture, having first thrown the defrosted and terribly stinking refrigerator and its spoiled food out onto the street. Roma collected and took out the scattered trash, and Galya even swept the floors. To save time, immediately after cleaning, we set out to scout the nearby buildings. The building next door had recently housed a travel agency. It wasn't exactly the most promising place to make money, but we did find an office water cooler and four fifteen-liter bottles of clean drinking water.
