Journal Entry Three Now I’m a Teenager I just turned fourteen and my grandmom is dead. My mom’s mom. I don’t really know my dad’s mom that well. I guess the trips to Philly on Saturday are done. Actually, they had been done for a few months now. My Aunt Maryanne was taking care of her at her house. Anyway, I woke up this morning to sounds of horrible weeping. Deep, muffled sounds that echoed through the house.... it was my mother crying. It was unfortunate that this was the day before we were to leave for Aruba; my mom, dad and me. Guess we won’t be going. My parents sat in the dining room for hours trying to figure this one out. Can they get their money back or not?
