"I'll take that apartment house, miss Jackson." He smiled, making me weak on my knees.
I realized how much I've missed that smile since he barely smiles.
"It won't fit your standards, doctor Lancaster."
"I want to try, besides it's always good to try."
I licked my lips nervously and stood there. Why was he here?
I thought we had been finally separated so why is he here again?
"Very well, then. It's settled. We'll go see the apartment and see what we can do."
