Cassandra knew that Herdon was greatly annoyed with what happened. Herdon went straight to their room and Cassandra decided to follow him there. She just wanted to comfort him.
"Hon, don't get mad—"
"How can I?! We're almost done! We could have made it if not because of those annoying cops!" shouted Herdon that stunned Cassandra.
Herdon realized what he did.
"I—I'm sorry... I'm just..." he shook his head, "I'll just take a shower so I can relax..." he headed to the bathroom leaving Cassandra who was still not moving.
Cassandra sat on the bed trying to absorb everything.
