Cassandra is comfortably lying in Herdon's arms as she runs her finger on his chest. Herdon's other arm was atop his forehead. "Hon, I'm scared..." Cassandra in a soft voice. She's talking about Herdon's plan on giving ransom money. "Don't be... I promise you nothing will happen as long as we play their game," he assured. "But... How can this be called ransom money if they don't have you already?" Cassandra was confused. Herdon changed his position. He faced Cassandra then he runs his finger on her cheeks. "Do you really think it's best not to inform Inspector Clay about this?" Cassandra closes her eyes, letting Herdon's finger run into her face. "If we close a deal with those guys, we will be safe," Herdon said then he kissed Cassandra on her lips. A very passionate kiss while his hand runs down to Cassandra's lower part. "Did you come up with a plan now? On how to communicate with them?" Cassandra pushed Herdon a little and she catches her breath. "Let us talk about that later..." Herdon pulled Cassandra letting her feel his readiness, "for now... let me do something for you," he helplessly said. Cassandra smiled teasingly, "Should do something for you, too?" "Of course..." Herdon said and he kissed her again. Cassandra took off Herdon clothes while they were kissing. Herdon did the same to her. Then Cassandra aggressively went atop him. "Hmm..." smiled Herdon as he amazingly looking at her body. They shared kisses again and Cassandra was good at making Herdon moan. Then Herdon was atop her now. He went down and he stroked, kissed, and cherished her down there. "Ohhh... Please... h-honey..." Cassandra feels like she's having a seizure because of the sensation she's feeling down there. But Herdon keeps on licking while his hands are on Cassandra's breast. Cassandra can't help but hold on to the mattress. And when Herdon wanted to take her already, he rose above her brushing his lips on her body. He keeps on teasing which creates an erotic sensation. And when he's finally on top of her, he gently widens her legs, positioning his'. Then he gently went inside her. He was gentler than the last time they made love. And when the climax seized them both, Herdon lay beside her. "I love you..." Cassandra whispers as she closed her eyes. Herdon did not answer but he stroked Cassandra's hair. He chuckled when he hears her snoring. Looking at her face, he gently pinched her cheeks. He kissed her on the lips before he went to sleep. *********** The next morning, Herdon talked to Cassandra about the one their planning. "You have a plan now?" Cassandra asked as she enters their room, then she closes it to make sure her parents won't hear a thing. "Yes... I don't know if you'll agree with this. But I think this is the best idea so that your parents won't be involved," explained Herdon. "Yes..." Cassandra walks, nodding her head, "I don't want them to get involved... And if it's possible, I don't want them to know about this," she added. "I already think about that. And I hope you'll agree with me and help me convince your parents," he said. "Okay. Tell me then," Cassandra sits beside him. "Well... I think we should move to our house," Herdon stood up and he went near the window, looking for his in-laws. He's just making sure that Cassandra's parents are still in the garden. "And?" looks like Cassandra needs more explanation or information. "And when we're already there, maybe the guys will show up again as they did here," making his way to her. Cassandra furrowed, "I-I don't understand... If that's your point, I think, they can just come here again. Because as you said, they did come here, right? What's the difference?" she wonders? "Look," he cupped Cassandra's face as he kneels, "I think they're not coming here again since we heard from Inspector Clay that he saw them here. I am sure that Inspector Clay is looking for them to come here again. And I believe, they won't. And another thing, your parents," he explained further. "Hon... I'm really scared..." Cassandra bit her lips. She doesn't know if their plan will work. "Just trust me on this, okay?" Herdon sighed, "if only Inspector Clay won't accuse me of that accident, I would love to cooperate with him. But it's just complicated. As long as he's accusing me, this won't stop. He even doesn't believe my statements," he said sadly. While looking at Herdon's emotion, Cassandra decided to give her full support to her husband. She thinks that she's the only one that can trust him. And she wants to prove also that he is innocent. Because that's what she believes in. "Let's do this. I will tell my parents that we're going back to our house," Cassandra said and Herdon feels relieved. The next thing was not easy, especially for Cassandra. Mr. and Mrs. Lopez did not agree with them about going back to their house. "I thought we're all okay here," Mrs. Lopez said. "Mom, there is no problem. And I am very happy to see that you and my husband are now on good terms. It's just that we need to start again in our life. We want to move on," Cassandra tried to explain very nicely, hoping that they will just let them. "But what if you're still in danger? How we will be able to help if we can't see you all the time?" Mr. Lopez was worried too. "I am here for your daughter, sir. I promise I will take care of her with all my best. And I'm gonna say this again, I don't have plans on hurting your daughter. I did not do anything," Herdon said assuring them. "Please, mom, dad... I promise if something happened, we'll get back here," Cassandra swore. In the end, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez did not convince them to stay. They instructed Herdon to call them if anything suspicious happened. Cassandra and Herdon packed their things after. Mrs. Lopez silently cried when Cassandra and Herdon already left. ********* Cassandra was teary-eyed looking at their house. "Hey," Herdon worriedly run to her after putting their things inside. "I'm sorry, I just can't help it... It's just sad that some bad guys were after us without us knowing why. That ruined our anniversary before and they almost took you away from me," she said emotionally, wiping her own tears. "Hey, look at me," Herdon raised her head, "I'm still alive, okay? And we're back here, we'll gonna make good memories again and no one can stop us. Not those guys because we will give them what they want," then he kissed her forehead. They happily went inside together. But Cassandra felt strange when she already set her foot inside. She looked at her husband, wondering. "Why?" Herdon asked, also wondering. "N-Nothing... I just got a bit off," Cassandra shook her head. " Okay. So, how about we start cleaning? Because honestly, I missed this home," he happily looked around. Spider webs are everywhere. Even the stairs are full of spider webs. It's like an old house or looks like a haunted house, rather. "Can I go upstairs first?" Cassandra turned to him. "Of course," he chuckled. When Cassandra started climbing the stairs, Herdon called her. "What about I'll let you clean our bedroom upstairs while I take care of here?" He suggested. Cassandra just nodded and proceeded. Cassandra slowly opened the door of their bedroom and it gives an eerie sound. The room was covered by dust as she looks around. She furrowed when she saw that one of the windows are open. She walked there but then she gasped when the wind blows. It gives her goosebumps and without any reason, she looked at her left palm. It feels like she was holding ice that makes her body shiver. "Cassandra..." She almost jumps when she heard someone calling her name. She looked around and she screamed when she saw someone in the mirror. "Hey!" Cassandra realizes that it was Herdon. She hugged him tightly. "What happened?" Herdon asked in a worried face, "you're cold..." "D-Did you call me by name?" Cassandra looked up at him. "Huh? No way!" Herdon shook his head. Cassandra got goosebumps again, "H-hon... someone called my name," she said with fear in her eyes. Herdon's smile suddenly fades away. He doesn't know what to say. "I-I think we should get back to my parents—" "Okay. Maybe this house is just freaking you out because honestly, I'm freaking out too. It looks like a ghost house and we can't clean this mess in just one day. I think we should hire someone, a maid maybe? Because this house is so big," Herdon smiled again. "No—" "Hon, please... We already talked about this and we made this decision. We need to stay here. You are just a bit off, as you said earlier," he cut off her again. Cassandra tried to remain calm. She's thinking that Herdon was right, she's just a bit off. "I will call mom to ask for help. She knows an agency," Cassandra went down to get her cellphone. It's still in the bag and it's downstairs. Herdon was exasperated as he followed Cassandra. When Cassandra finished talking to her mom, she told Herdon that her mother will take care of everything about hiring a maid. In the meantime, they decided to go back to her parent's house to stay until they got a maid. Herdon at first was dismayed, but Cassandra assured him that her mother can provide them a maid in less than twenty-four hours...
