Sleepless Night

After that little incident Sgt. Kayoshi never kept his eyes off us.

We had arrived at Ulsa finally! The city once shining with beauty and people had now turned into a dark atmospheric city. War doesn't bring happiness, I could see that.

Sgt. Kayoshi had told us to rest and go to sleep early because tommorow will be the day, we try and Conquer and subjugate the city at once, in a smooth consecutives motions.

I don't think the vast majority of us were able to sleep, I couldn't sleep nor did my squad. Was it excitement or fear that kept us late? Who knows but it doesn't change the fact that we were sleepless when morning came.

Sgt. Kayoshi was checking up on everyone and when he had done checking up he shouted

"Did none of you fools get any sleep?"

We all looked away in guilt

Then bravely one of the soldiers Shouted

"I couldn't sir, knowing today we'd conquer Ulsa, it was too much of excitement"

Sgt. Kayoshi sharply yet swiftly replied

"If you cannot keep your emotions contained, then you'll die quickly"

No one said anything as I could tell, as everyone could tell, everyone here didn't want to die yet for whatever reason that may be.
