Limbo
Cold steel followed by blood and immeasurable pain filled my entire body as I suddenly shot up, eyes wide and body completely drenched with sweat. I looked quickly around myself, only able to hear the drumming of my heart against my chest. I looked to be in some kind of room. Not one that I recognise but a room nonetheless. I am also laying on a soft bed while the rest of the room is shrouded in darkness. Unfortunately. What kind of afterlife is this? I thought, unable to comprehend anything. Then again, my vision also keeps fading in and out so I don’t know if the problem is with the room or with me even. ‘I see that you are awake.’ A voice said, startling me slightly as I turned to their direction, barely able to make them out with my on and off vision. ‘Hmm? Can you not see?’ ‘
