Leon The first course arrived as the servers stepped forward silently from the building, placing the meal on the table: white truffle winter soup, steaming gently in porcelain bowls adorned with delicate silver patterns. The scent drifted upward, creamy and warm, perfect for the snow-dusted night outside. Aurora gave a slight, polite nod to the server and thanked her before lifting her spoon. “Thank you.” The servers bowed their heads and left. “How is it?” I asked as she brought her spoon to her mouth and tasted the soup. “Good. It tastes amazing.” “I am glad you like it,” I told her and brought my spoon to my mouth. For a few minutes, we ate in silence until I paused and dropped my spoon. The date wasn’t just for dinner alone. I wanted to talk to her and ask her so many questions.
