Chapter 12

Sarah did not know how to understand or cope with what happened. She saw the connection she shared with Adam and it warmed her soul. In her heart, she felt the rightness and truth of the situation. She knew from the first time when the invisible hand led her down that street towards the strange carving on the door and she stood with her hand out. As she sipped her tea, it dawned on her and everything made sense.

'I carved those symbols on the door.' Sarah thought, 'I was my way of creating a beacon so we could find each other again.' She smiled at the thought of her predecessor's ingenuity.

"What are you smiling about, Sarah?" Adam asked as he saw the small smile play over her face.

While he discussed the plan with Samuel, he glanced over at Sarah who looked lost in thought. Then he saw the smile and it made his heart ache for the woman he had lost so many times.

'This time will be different.' Adam thought as he made his vow, 'I will not lose her.'

"Nothing important," Sarah said, "I was thinking about the front door."

"What about the front door?" Adam asked.

"How I or Jessica carved the door." Sarah replied feeling odd saying she was Jessica. It sounded foreign to her. "I guess I or her wanted to ensure we find each other."

"You and she are the same Sarah." Samuel reminded her.

"I know that, but it is hard to think about it that way." Sarah replied hugging the cup tea with her hands.

She felt Adam place his hand over hers. She loosened her grip from the cup, gripped his hand tightly, and smiled at him. Adam suggested that he would visit the docks tomorrow, but Samuel told him he needed to be Sarah's guardian. Samuel said he would take on the task of finding them passage out of Salem.

"What about Joshua?" Sarah blurted out.

"We will find a way to rescue him, but your safety is the primary concern." Samuel replied then took a long drink from his tankard.

"But..." Sarah tried to protest, but Samuel cut her off.

"No buts girl, you are the most important one right now." Samuel explained silencing her with his hand. "You must be kept safe."

Sarah let out a loud sigh of defeat. She knew he was right, but she did not want to accept it. She felt responsible for his capture.

After dinner, Samuel bade them good night. He explained that he needed to see if he could talk to a few captains tonight about passage on their ships. Samuel stepped out into the chilly night and put on his hat. He scanned the courtyard looking for anything out of place. Satisfied, he walked off into the night towards the docks. Once out of sight a silhouette detached itself from the shadows and looked at house.

Back inside the house, Sarah stood up and walked over to Adam. She sat down in his lap and kissed him, while holding his head in her hands. The touch of his lips against hers set her body on fire and she wanted more of him. Adam kissed her back as he wrapped his arms around her waist. He held her tight, feeling her body press against his.

'I will not lose this woman again.' Adam thought, 'I promise with my heart and soul.'

Adam stood up holding Sarah in his arms. Sarah laughed in delight as Adam stood up. Adam put out the candle and carried Sarah upstairs. Sarah kissed Adam on the lips, cheeks, and face as Adam carried her upstairs. Once upstairs and in the bedroom, Adam lightly placed Sarah on the ground. Sarah stood on her tiptoes and kissed Adam again. The kissed each other fierce and passionately.

Sarah slid her hands down his shirted chest. She felt his body warmed under her touch as her fingers ran over his muscled body. She grasped the front of his pant and undid them. Adam hissed in air, groaning lightly as Sarah slid her hand into his pants and wrapped her hand around his stiff organ.

Adam stopped kissing Sarah, so he could look at Sarah. He ran his hands over Sarah's face and though her hair and over her arms.

"I cannot believe you are here," Adam said quickly pulling Sarah into a deep embrace, burying his face into her hair. He inhaled deeply breathing her in.

"It was meant to be," Sarah spoke with a lump in her throat pulling her hand out of his pants, "We will always find each other. Please I want you now."

"Now you have to marry me." Adam smiled holding her tightly.

"What if I don't want to?" Sarah said with a mischievous smile.

Sarah noticed Adam's face fall slightly. "I want to be with you forever." She laughed heartily.

Adam stopped embracing her and slowly undressed her. Sarah let the dress fall to her feet in a heap. Adam caressed her body with his eyes, taking in her slim hips, round firm breast and long golden hair. Stepping towards her, he ran his fingers though her golden hair, then down his cheek. Sarah moved her cheek against his hand moaning lightly. Adam lightly ran his finger down her arms and Sarah shivered feeling goose bumps pop up on her arms. Gently he laid her on the bed and removed his clothes. Sarah smiled as she saw his erect manhood.

"Not yet, love." Adam smiled as he lied down next to her on his side.

The warmth and tightness of his body pressed against her caused Sarah to squirm with delight. Sarah spread her legs into response to Adam pulling himself on top of her. He kissed his way down her jawline and licked his way down her neck. He lightly kissed her collarbone as he heard Sarah moan louder. Sarah's body felt on fire and she breath heavily with her eyes half closed.

Adam lightly kissed the tops of her firm breast. Sarah gasped as Adam flicked his tongue against the erect n****e. Sarah felt his tongue lick around her erect n****e and then arched her back as he took the n****e between his lips. Sarah moaned as he sucked deeply on the n****e. His other hand gently squeezed her other breast, rolling the n****e with thumb.

Electric shocks of pleasure ran though her body as he softly bit down on the n****e. Adam switched as he placed his other n****e in his mouth, sucking deeply. "How does that feel?" Adam looked into the hazel eyes full of pleasure.

"Wonderful," Sarah breathed out, "I want you now."

He lightly kissed the cleft between her legs and smiled as he heard Sarah gasp.

Sarah eyes widened and looked down as Adam kissed her between the legs. She never thought people could do this. She laid her head back down on a pillow, feeling him kiss his way down of her left leg. Sarah loosened her grip from around Adam and he withdrew himself. Adam took a deep breath and lied on his back. Sarah laid her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat fast in his chest. She traced the symbols on his chest with her finger and felt Adam shiver under the touch of his finger.

"I love you Sarah," Adam spoke looking down at Sarah and running his fingers through her damp hair.

"I love you too Adam," Sarah replied with tears in her eyes and she hugged herself tightly against him.

"It will be okay," said Adam softly as he held her, "I will not let anything happen to you."

"It...It is not that," Sarah said smiling, 'I'm so happy and I feel complete."

Adam held Sarah tight as she laid her cheek back down on his chest. Before long, Sarah fell asleep on him. Adam thinking about what would happen tomorrow, stayed awake for a bit before falling asleep himself.

'Everything will work out in the end.' Adam thought as he dozed off to sleep.
