I’m numb—comfortably numb. I’m surrounded by the only smell which reminds me of home. Not wanting this moment to ever end, I snuggle into Jude’s chest, intent on staying this way forever. A deep rumble makes me remember the profound sounds Jude made as he buried himself so deeply inside me, I never thought he’d be found.
