Out for shopping

The marketplace was bustling, and now She found himself in a LEGO flagship store. Marion was seated on a Black leather chair, on the second floor of their oriental-style mansion, overlooking a small pond filled with beautiful fish. He was feeding the fish when he heard the response, and his brow raised slightly. "She's buying for herself?" Marion inquired. Den replied, "Yes, Madame chose the flagship ring for the old lady, for young master picked a Cartier watch, For Miss Roger a designer handbag, and as for you, Madame selected a tie for you, which has already been delivered." "Understood," Marion said. After hanging up the phone, Marion continued to ponder something. The person kneeling behind him, battered and bruised, dared not make a sound. After some time, Marion suddenly chuckled, a brief nasal laugh. Turning around, he waved his hand at the person below. "Take him away." After exiting the shopping mall, Clara didn't feel like returning home just yet. She wandered for about half an hour and inexplicably ended up in a LEGO flagship store. They were celebrating their anniversary, and the store was filled with children and a large area for free building, piled with all kinds of bricks. In the center stood a magnificent giant spaceship. Beside Clara, a child tugged at their parent and pleaded, "Mom, I want to play with the LEGO blocks too." A sales assistant explained with a smile, "You can enter as long as you purchase any LEGO set from this store." The parent picked one and excitedly entered with their child. Clara had been watching attentively from the outskirts, and Den was standing just behind. Den suggested, "Madame, if you like, you can pick a few sets. The sports car and architecture series are both excellent choices." Clara remained silent, seemingly entranced. Suddenly, a child ran over, turned, and laughed loudly, not noticing Clara in front of them. The child crashed straight into Clara, who staggered back. The child began to cry immediately, looking frightened, and said while crying, "Sister, I didn't mean to." Den furrowed their brows, about to say something when Clara spoke up, "It's alright, be more careful next time." Clara smiled and patted the child's head. "Where's your mother?" The child pointed toward another direction, and Clara wiped away the child's tears. "Don't run around; your mother will worry. Be good." The child nodded and cast a glance at Den, then turned and ran off. Clara said, "Help me choose two sets of LEGO, then we can head back." Den nodded and hesitated for a moment before asking, "Madame, are you alright after that incident?" "I'm fine. How much strength can a child have?" Clara looked at two sets of car-themed LEGO blocks, had them wrapped by the salesperson, and then turned to say, "From now on, don't call me 'Madame' when we're outside. Just call me by my name." Den's eyes flickered slightly. "Madame, that doesn't seem appropriate." Clara smiled and didn't insist. She also purchased the classic Star Wars set. Den filled in the address and communicated that the items would be delivered later. They spent nearly two hours outside and returned home in the late afternoon. Marion hadn't returned yet. The Prince in the garden was getting ready to eat, and the sound of the dog barking could be heard from afar. A servant carried several pounds of fresh beef and fruits and vegetables to feed the dog. Clara didn't pay much attention and went straight upstairs. Once back in the room, She locked the balcony door and drew the curtains. The room had excellent soundproofing, so she wouldn't be able to hear any noise outside. Clara turned on the lights, and just as he did, there was a knock at the door. Den's voice came from outside, "Madame, your LEGO sets have arrived." Clara opened the door to find several large and small boxes stacked outside. Den offered to help carry them in, but Clara refused, saying, "I've got it." Bending down, She pushed the boxes into the room. Seemingly casually, She asked, "Did he... mention when he would be back?" Den replied, "No, Madame. I'll inform you when he returns." Clara nodded, and after all the LEGO sets were in the room, Den said, "The evening event may be delayed again. I'll bring you some snacks." This time, Clara didn't refuse. Partly because she had been out for so long that she was a bit hungry, and partly because... she wasn't sure she'd have the appetite for dinner once she saw Marion's face. That day, after Marion had left, Clara had nightmares almost every night. Several times, she had dreamt of being thrown into the cage of the Casro hound, and the mad dog had bitten him mercilessly, causing excruciating pain that lingered even after she woke up.
