➤ The next morning, the cloudy sky seemed to know their world was about to change. Tabby stood beside Daniell, wearing a black satin blouse and a silver-grey long coat — her aura no longer that of a college girl. Daniell, dressed in a triple-layered coat with leather gloves and an old watch inherited from she father on sheleft wrist. > They stepped into Hotel La Prince Heritage — a private elevator took them to the highest floor, to a meeting room that didn’t exist on any official hotel registry. ➤ Brian opened the door. > Inside — several sharply dressed men and women, each bearing a small silver wolf insignia on their jackets. The room fell silent the moment Daniell entered. Uncle Rico stood at the center — his expression proud, yet ice-cold. > “Let me introduce. This is Tengku Daniell Alexandra Ambrosio — the largest shareholder of the Ambrosio Syndicate. And beside him…” Tabby remained calm, though her heart thundered. “…Tengku Tabitha Park. Heiress of the Park-Wan bloodline from South Korea, and rightful successor to the East Asian black market empire. And... protector of Daniell.” > All members of The Wolf Group stood in acknowledgement. A sharp-eyed older woman murmured, “So... the two children of legends have finally returned.” ➤ Daniell stepped into the center of the room. He removed his leather gloves and placed them on the table. > “We didn’t come to play roles.” He looked around — fearless, unwavering. “We came to take back what’s rightfully ours.” > Tabby stood beside him, calm... But her hand was already touching the small pistol hidden inside her coat. --- 🐺 And a New World Begins > After the meeting, they were taken to a restricted chamber — the storage room for operation files, global maps, and The Wolf Group’s communication system. Tabby whispered softly to Dani, “Are you sure about this?” Daniell stared at the digital screen showing Aadayan’s face. “If we don’t act… he’ll come for us. It’s better if we strike first.” --- > Brian stood at the end of the round black marble table, voice calm but firm. > “Allow me to introduce — this is Señorita Hayder, former chief manager of the Sicily unit. And her son, Harash — the Wolf Group’s top assassin in East Asia.” Tabby simply nodded. Hayder offered a small smile, while Harash gave a silent, respectful nod. > “Over there — Tengku Danish Ruiz and his brother, Tengku Daniel Ruiz. Experts in strategy and communications.” “And here…” Brian glanced to his right, “These are Tyler, and his son — Terrence. In charge of weapons control and the European market branch.” > Everyone gave formal nods… Except for one person. > Terrence. He leaned back lazily, hands in his pockets, voice low — but loud enough for the whole room to hear. > “Is she… a girl?” Everyone turned. “Can she lead our group as well as a man could? I don’t think so. She’s—” > “—just a pretty face.” He smirked, smug. The room went silent. --- > Daniell stepped forward… but Tabby stopped him with just the tip of her finger. Slowly, Tabby rose from her seat. Long black coat, hair tied high, eyes sharp — as if measuring who deserves to live… and who doesn’t. > She looked at Terrence — Not with anger, but with pity. > “You think my gender defines my leadership?” She walked toward the table, fingers gliding across the digital world map displaying all Ambrosio operations. > “That’s funny. Because two years ago, it was my orders that saved three of your gun shipments from disappearing in Marseille. I planned the decoy, the reroute, and the firewall.” She turned to him. > “You just didn’t know it was me.” --- > Terrence stood, anger rising. “Still. You’re not trained like us. You weren’t raised like—” > BAM. Daniell placed a wooden box on the table. He opened it slowly. > Inside — a shooting target dummy’s head. A single hole, dead center in the forehead. The name on it? “Terrence Test Target.” Daniell’s smile? Razor-sharp. Straight out of a movie. --- > Tabby stepped closer, a sweet smile on her lips. > “I don’t need to prove anything, Terrence.” “But if you need a man to lead you just to feel safe...” > “...then maybe you’re not ready to be led at all.” --- > The room. Silent. Completely. Terrence? Speechless. Uncle Rico? Gave a slow nod. > “Looks like the girl you doubted… just led the whole room.”
