I stood outside Dane’s office. My hand was up to knock, but I stopped.
Behind that door was my Alpha. The man I wanted for years. The man who picked a human girl over me.
And I had news that could change everything.
Silver light. Real, strong, scary silver light that came from Freya’s hands when the rogue attacked. For one fast second I saw it. Pure power that stopped the wolf in the air before I finished him with my knife.
