We all met in Marcus’s private study, away from the noise and the pack running around getting ready for trouble.
Dane sat right next to me on the couch, holding my hand tight. Marcus and Catherine were across from us. George stood by the window, looking lost and a bit scared.
“Why am I here?” George asked, looking at everyone. “Marcus said it was important and it was about me and Freya.”
