A sudden feeling of nervousness washed over her.
The voice behind her was familiar.
She had been hurrying toward Jessa’s house, intending to go inside, but her friend had failed to mention that Tim was there too.
After leaving Ram’s rest house, she asked to be dropped off there instead. She didn’t want to go back to the hotel yet because if she and Ram arrived together in the same car, her coworkers would surely become suspicious. At this point, she still wasn’t ready to tell everyone about what was happening between them.
She had wanted to confide in Jessa first. Besides, based on Ram’s conversation with James, he was willing to talk to her friend for the sake of the baby. In fact, James seemed happy that he and Jessa were finally going to have a child together.
