Alexus “Lea,” I called out to my unconscious mate. I took her whimpering form in my arms and ran to the medical wing of the palace without delay. Seeing her face pale and contorted with pain was breaking my heart. We needed Valentin, we needed a Fae healer immediately. I smelled her blood, it was oozing from between her legs. “No, no!!
