CHAPTER FOURTEEN The next night A white man in an overcoat sat inside of Denny’s with his apple jack and a Grand Slam before him. He was sure the breakfast was lukewarm seeing as how he’d ordered it twenty minutes ago. Although he’d placed the order he didn’t have an appetite.
