Chapter Seven

" Chris, I have a favor to ask you please"

" It's about your page right"

" Yes, can you help me promote it?"

" Yes but Dave and Mike has to do it"

" Aww Boo please just do this one thing for me, you have more followers than them besides am hundred percent sure that it will grow in no time if you post it. Please just once"

" Sometimes I wonder between you and Morah who's the cutest puppy"

" Chris you are calling me a dog again "

" But dog and puppy are two different things na"

" You don't have respect again "

I started hitting him, we played for a while. Then he asked me out for ice cream.

We went out to get some ice cream and decided to eat out.

Chris texted Dave and Mike to help promote by page. I received notification from my i********: page that Dave , Mike and Chris posted my page and tagged me. Before we left I received thousands of new followers. Chris stared at his phone and made a worry look but did not say a thing.

The next morning Manager Doris visited again but this time I met her on my out to work, we exchange pleasantries and I headed to my car with Morah.

On getting to my work Ciara dragged me to a corner and told me that we have so many orders for today. Some celebs had ordered cakes from us.

" What are we waiting for, let's get to work "

" But you know Chris asked me not to allow you get too stressed out. Infact I've been thinking of you opening your own bakery and employing some hands because they specifically asked you to bake the cake for them"

" If that's the case hen I need to notify boss before my bakery would be is ready"

" Oh and another thing Priscy went live on IG this morning, and said some stupid things, I hope you don't take them to heart. You should know what Chris has been trying to protect right and he truly loves you."

" I know am not a kid anymore"

My colleagues began gossiping behind me but it all got worse after I submitted my resignation letter. Although boss felt bad but I knew she understands.

I later went on IG only to see so many hashtags . Priscy had gone live only to cry online and accuse me for stealing her boyfriend. She said alot of things that reading the comments got my head spinning. I could not wait for my driver but got into a taxi and left. I also forgot about Morah too. On my way home although I could barely see clearly I noticed that the driver was moving a different direction from the usual route. I asked him where he's taking me to but could not get a reply before I fainted.
