Chapter 4 Impulse

"Sorry, buddy, you can’t shoot a gun yet. But how about I take you to visit the troop?" Liam sank low and spoke softly to the child.

Vivian felt like crying as she watched their interaction.

"Oh, there must be a lot of guns there, right?" Tommy was very interested.

Liam glared at Vivian, "You taught your kid about guns at such a young age?" He suddenly froze because he realized it was not his business at all.

Vivian was also speechless. What does it have to do with you, she wondered? But then she realized she was completely wrong!

"Why should we go there?" She asked, wondering if she was going to be interrogated or something.

"It's about the drill. It would be very nice if you could give us some feedback so that we could improve the security, please!"

Hell yeah! Of course, she would go. What a good chance this was. To see Liam again after so many years!

They came at the military truck. Liam assisted her in loading the luggage into the trunk before allowing them to enter the vehicle.

Vivian insisted on Liam sitting in the back. "I'll take the co-pilot seat." Liam explained, perplexed.

"No, no, Tommy will get carsick, I'm afraid. Could you please come and assist me in caring for him?"

Liam paused for a moment, then sat in the back with Vivian. He would be very unlikely to make the compromise if it were any other woman. But she had something unique about her.

Tommy sat on the other side of Vivian. He was looking out of the window constantly, observing this new land with curiosity.

"What’s your name?" Liam asked.

"Vivian Reed."

Vivian addressed him as if she didn't recognize him and inquired about his name. “How about you?”

"Liam Hassan." With a solemn expression on his face, the man looked ahead.

He didn't want to talk more about himself, which made Vivian unhappy. Vivian stated, "That's it? Are you not going to ask how I am? What if I was shocked or even traumatized?"

Benjamin Johnson, the driver, chuckled. He got a nice suntan and big eyes. The short hair really fit his head nicely. Liam coughed intentionally. Benjamin heard it and stopped laughing.

"Sir, it must be really fun there, right? I also want to be a soldier in the future. It's so cool! And Mommy says I have long legs just like my Daddy!"

Liam stayed silent.

Vivian rubbed her son's head and had a subtle feeling inside. She knew that if she told Liam the truth right now, he would definitely think she was mad. So she couldn't say anything yet! She had to be patient even though the man she loved was right next to her. Vivian was never the kind that would give up easily. She had yet to fail to get something she tried hard to obtain. She felt confident and excited just thinking about that.

At this moment, the car came to an abrupt halt. Vivian fell onto Liam's lap! When Liam looked down, he saw her tiny ears and pretty face. Her long eyelashes were flapping like butterflies.

These were beautiful and all that, except one of her hands was at his crotch!

And the worst part, he was turned on by her!

Accident! This is just an accident! And so Liam thought to himself.

Vivian blushed as she let go of him. She was checking on Tommy when the car abruptly turned, sending her back in the direction of Liam! This time, Liam was able to stop her in time.

However, her hand still touched his crotch, and she could clearly feel his erection! Her heart almost jumped to her throat, and she peeked at his face. He was looking outside the window to hide his embarrassment.

Vivian was overjoyed! She didn't know much about men, but she knew that it would normally take much longer to turn a man on.

"Stop!" Tommy suddenly interrupted them and said seriously, "No kissing in front of children!"

Liam felt very awkward and yelled at Ben, "What the hell are you doing? How did you even get a license!"

"Sorry, Captain Hassan!" It was extremely rare to see his captain so embarrassed. No one would believe him when he shared the story later.

Captain Hassan was the well-known tough guy in Special Forces District C. He was an expert with guns and knives, and he never relaxed his guard in front of a woman. Even though he had a fiancee, he had never touched her.

They arrived at their destination soon.

Tommy was delighted when he got out of the car. The place was huge, with a training ground the size of three football fields. Even the entrance was gigantic. He wanted to run in by himself, but he couldn't get past the barrier gate. He was already 4 feet tall, even though he was only five.

The soldier on duty at the gate saw the child but did nothing. Liam and the soldier exchanged salutes before walking them in.

Vivian was deeply moved by this place. She had wanted to be a soldier since she was a girl, but her physicality was lacking, and she preferred to sleep. She had decided to study medicine instead after some thought. She had always secretly gone to watch their training when she had the time because the medical school was very close to the military academy. One of them was Liam! He had always given his best during training and been so handsome and masculine. He had been the dream lover of many medical students at that time. He looked absolutely delicious in the uniform! And now she's entered this place with his son. This was an entirely new experience!

Liam walked ahead of her, paying no attention to her excitement.
