Back to the apartment, Vivian felt like she went back home. She couldn't help but ask Liam, "Honey, did you miss me during my absence?"
"Nope!" Liam said resolutely.
Vivian chuckled, "Liar! You must be so happy that I'm back."
"Don't put words into my mouth!"
"I'm just trying to help you express yourself, shy boy. Alright, I'll make dinner."
"Why did you buy so many eggs? I thought you were gonna make steaks."
"It's for the future." Vivian smiled brightly. She felt that she was one step closer to him.
Vivian found an apron and asked Liam to help her tie it.
He wanted to refuse but she just stood there and waited for him. He had no choice but to do as she asked.
