"Good morning Sir"

" Good morning Lucy, how are you doing?"

"Am doing very okay Sir and Sir you are looking so cute and dashing more than usual today Sir"

"Hahahahhahahaha, thank you so much for the compliment but I can't really see what difference I made on myself as of other days. Once again thank you so much Lucy and you are not looking bad either, you are looking elegant and pretty as always".

" Wow, thank you so much Sir, it's been awhile since you gave me a compliment. With this, you have made my day Sir".

" Is it my pleasure, did anyone come to look for me?".

" Not really Sir, it was only Miss Cyndy , the lady we met at the conference in Port-harcourt that called that she is in Lagos and will be coming to see you later".

" Oh Miss Cyndy, okay when she comes let her in, who knows maybe it is a business proposal that she is coming with".

"Okay Sir".

Philip then receives a call on the phone and walks to his office while talking on the phone.

" Today you gave me a compliment, I will keep pushing until you are so attracted to me and you will also create a space for me in your heart. Oh my God he is so cute and sweet, God just grant this wish for me, I am so in love with my boss and I need him in my life. I will improve my outfits, I will start dressing a bit sexy also, I must get your attention Cute Phil". Lucy thought to herself.

An hour later Lucy, Philip's secretary, comes into Philip's office and says " Sir, Miss Cyndy is here to see you Sir".

" Let her in".

Few seconds later, an elegant lady steps in , looking so beautiful and in her corporate wears.

" Good morning Mr Philip" Cyndy greeted.

Philip, hearing the greeting, stood up as courtesy demand to welcome his special guest.

" Welcome Miss Cyndy" They both exchange pleasantries and Philip offers Cyndy a seat and she sits on one of the visitors' seats in front of Philip's Desk.

" Welcome once again, it's been awhile, I was surprised when my Secretary told me that you called and wanted to come to see me, indeed I am delighted having you in my office".

" Thank you for receiving me, I came for a function in Lagos and since I still have time on my side, I decided to check on my one time friend". She says that and they both laugh.

" Indeed you are looking stunning and beautiful. So how have you been and how is work going?".

" Thank you for the compliment Mr Philip, I am good and work has been on a positive side, indeed the struggle goes on".

" Stop it with the Mr Philip, from you I prefer Phil, you are a CEO as am also".

" Okay if u say so Phil" she said it with a smile.

" So what can I offer you Cyndy? ".

" Absolutely nothing, I had my breakfast before coming here and am okay"

" Not even water? "

" Nothing at all, am completely okay"

" If you insist then, because I am at your service Cyndy".

" Thank you so much. The reason while I am here might be quite funny but to me it is very important and I mean my words".

" What it is, hope I did not offend you in any way? ".

" Hahahahaha... No it is not that but.... how can I say this now. Okay I got no choice but to say it the way it is. To be honest and sincere with you Phil, from the first time I set my eyes on you at that conference I hosted, you have gotten my whole attention. I have tried but could not stop thinking of you, the thought of you gives me joy and for me you are my completion, your cute looks, your voice, your height, the way your talk, your smile, your work organization, your sense of dressing and everything about you gives me a reason to say, ' I have fallen in love with you Phil'. I know it sounds funny and odd because a guy is supposed to ask a lady out on a date and not the other way round. I not trying to tell you this since tells how I have been fighting to kill this feelings for a long time but when the function came up for me to be in Lagos, I said to myself that this is the perfect time to tell you what my heart fills for you. No that I don't have men wanting me, yes they do but I don't really connect to them and most of them are after my wealth and what they will get as a benefit of dating me. With all this Love led me to you and I do think we are comparable, we are both successful and our businesses are doing so well. I love you with my heart and am not after your money because I am a made and established lady both home and abroad, all I want is your love Phil. Once again I am sorry I had to say it myself, you schooled abroad and have reyse around the world, time has passed when only the men ask ladies out, these days even a lady is permitted to ask a man she loves out on a date. Phil, what I am saying is that ' I love you'. ".

" Wow, this is so amazing, mind blowing and your words are so captivating , indeed you are romantic with your words, indeed yours words are so sweet and you swept me off my feet. Cyndy , you are young, you are elegant, you are educated, you are smart, you are a successful business lady, you are rich, you are beautiful and gorgeous, you are outspoken, you are bold, you are a damsel and indeed you are lot more and any man in his right state of mind will call in love with you with myself inclusive. Indeed I was amazed with the bold step you took to express yourself to me with those sweet words, oh my God , I am honored but..".

" But what Phil, with all the compliment you have given me you still want to reject me? ".

" Who is talking about rejecting you Dear, I can't reject you, you are a dream come true but the problem is am already in a serious relationship that has gone far and i can't even double date neither can I even cheat on my fiance and we love ourselves a lot but we can be friends indeed I love and admire your personality but we can't have a romantic relationship but I promise you sincere and honest friendship".

" I don't need friendship, my heart yearns for love and love from your Phil. Please let's just begin something and who knows".

" Cyndy I wish I could but I can't cheat on my fiance, I am so sorry".

Cyndy smiled calmly , took her bag and left Philip's office quietly while Philip stares at her with amazement.
