I see the police draw their weapons and hear them telling someone to get on the ground. They proceed to step into the room cautiously. The shot we heard fired off sent my heart into my throat. I couldn't take anymore waiting, I jumped out of the car and then ran up the steps to the second floor. Before I could reach the door, however, Jeremy pulled me back from it. "You can't just go barging in there! They will shoot you too!"
