“Did something happen between you two?”
I flinched when Blaze spoke after almost half an hour of silence between us. Something is blocking my throat when I glance at him to see his expression.
His eyes were scanning me from head to toe. That’s when I remember that I am wearing shorts and a tank top. He could clearly see some love marks on my skin. I cleared my throat but didn’t say anything.
Blazes shook his head, looking disappointed, but didn’t comment. He stood up and went to the kitchen instead. I was left sitting there in the living room, looking dumbfounded.
It’s still bizarre of Myles to leave me alone with Blaze. I understand he doesn’t want me to get out of the house given the last incident that happened to me. It both traumatized us and he’s just protecting me.
