Myles paused then looked up at me when I approached him wearing a sweet, yet, seductive smile. I have to make sure I don’t look suspicious to him.
He raised a brow then looked at me from head to toe. I’m only wearing a bathrobe since I just finished taking a bath. He clenched his jaw then rested his chin on his knuckles, his eyes moving up and down.
“Yes?”
I gulped when his low, yet deep tone penetrated right through my system. It made my knees and my insides flip but I shook them away because I was doing this to find out something.
I know it’s invading and I could just ask him about it nicely, but I know Myles. He might start another fight between us and I don’t want that to happen. Last time it made me sick because of overthinking too much.
