He’s real. He’s really here.
“How are you, Melanie? It’s been so long…” he mumbled in a low gentle voice that’s soothing.
But I didn’t ooze because of his tone. Or even by his smile, that tells me he’s not mad. It’s impossible for him to not feel anything despite my disappearance in public.
I know we had our share of memories before and he broke my heart, but I actually moved on from that. Time healed my battle scars.
