Heath's gentle voice cut through the silence, his words a soothing balm to Zara's frazzled emotions. "It's alright to cry, just let it out," he whispered, his eyes filled with compassion.
Zara nodded, feeling the weight of her emotions bear down on her. She had been holding it together for so long, but Heath's kindness and understanding had finally broken down her defenses.
