After Heath's mother left, Linda settled into the house, feeling surprisingly at home despite it being her first time there. She made herself comfortable in the living room, waiting for Heath to return after he had angrily stormed out. As the minutes ticked by, Linda wondered if she should just go to bed, assuming that Heath might have checked into a hotel for the night.
