Hector’s smile disappeared and was replaced with a frown. His eyebrows crossed while looking at Czarina. And she couldn’t help but bit her inner cheeks as she felt his heavy stares. Czarina sipped on the straw as if she didn’t notice his glares. Although deep inside, her heart was already pounding so hard.
“Carlos? Then does it mean that the two of you are okay now?” Hector asked in a serious tone.
Czarina looked up and stared at Hector. And there, she found him looking intently at her. Czarina could feel the fluttery feeling in her stomach, and her hands get sweaty. Hector chuckled. He reached for his mocha frappe and sipped on its straw. She didn’t even notice that Hector already unwrapped the straw from its packet.
