“I wonder why Carlos wants you to be at the basketball court when we are really going there anyway,” Leah asked as they were on their way to the court. She was clinging to Czarina’s left arm while Eve was to the right. They were taking their time walking to the place.
“Maybe he got a surprise?” Eve guessed. She had her pointing finger under her chin.
Czarina just shrugged. "I don't know. But whatever it is, I'm not really interested. I will not believe everything he says not unless he shows it to me. I'm just too tired to keep on believing his lies." She sighed. "He couldn't seem to make up his mind, you know? He says these sweet words, and on the next day, he's like a total stranger.
