HEAT IN THE KITCHEN
SOPHIA'S POV
I stayed for a while in Lucien's office breathing in and out until I was calm enough to leave.
I opened the door as quietly as I could. I paused and listened, I couldn't hear anything.
I quickly came out of the room and pushed it close as gently as I could.
I tiptoed close to the door where I was peeping at Lucien and his lover.
The door was as I had left it before, but Lucien and the woman weren't in the room.
Did they leave?
I looked in carefully and heard a loud scream coming from the bathroom.
I felt grossly disgusted and intrigued.
They've been at it since then?
I guess it's a good thing for me then.
I quickly walked back to the kitchen and sat there.
I'd even forgotten for a moment about my plans for today.
It'd be better if I stayed in the kitchen than my room. George is more likely to walk into the kitchen than to my room.
I looked up at the brass clock that was hung in the kitchen and saw that it was already past mid-day.
I found it weird that a clock was hung in the kitchen in the first place but I guess different things make sense to different people.
I walked to the fridge and took out an orange juice the chef and I made yesterday.
I went to the stool before the kitchen's work surface and sat there.
I felt myself relax as I sipped the juice.
I took out my phone and turned on t****k. I had to distract myself so I didn't keep visualising what I saw.
I became quite engaged in the shorts that I was watching that I didn't hear Lucien and his lady friend walk into the kitchen.
“What are you doing here?” A deep and relaxed male voice asked, suddenly bringing me back to reality.
I looked up and saw Lucien and his lady friend.
I felt my cheeks heat up furiously, and turned away, probably because I saw them without clothes on not long ago.
They didn't know I saw them so why am I acting weird?
“That is none of your business Mr. Thorne,” I said automatically, my voice didn't sound strong enough in my ear so I cleared it and yanked my emotions into place.
He laughed and walked towards the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water.
“Who is she, Lucien?” His lady friend asked in a very high pitched voice.
It would have sounded cute if I didn't see the venom spewing from her eyes my way.
I looked away from her and continued sipping my juice.
“You don't have to bother about her. Come here,” he said and grabbed her by the waist.
They went over to the far end of the kitchen, still in clear view.
I began to feel hot all over and restless.
Why is he here with her?
Weren't they on their way out?
My grip tightened on the juice bottle, squeezing it out of shape. He is always getting on my nerves for f***s sake.
The lady who Lucien hasn't bothered to address by her name suddenly giggled and made me look up reflexively to see why she was laughing.
I looked up and saw Lucein squeezing her ass like freshly plucked oranges. He also had his face buried in her very ample bosom.
I didn't want to mention it before but the woman was really gorgeous. She was pretty and amply blessed with full breasts and a very big back side.
I sighed and stood up to give them privacy since he doesn't seem bothered about privacy himself.
I gulped down my orange juice and stood up to leave when George suddenly walked in with a lot of bags.
Seems like he went grocery shopping.
“Oh George!” I exclaimed, feeling very happy to see him at that moment.
I ran to him and helped him with the bags he was carrying.
“Miss Sophia, you seem exceedingly happy to see me,” George said walking with me to the kitchen.
“Yes I am George. I had been waiting for you, I didn't know where to start from to look for you seeing that this house is a maze,” I replied more loudly this time.
I wanted to perish any idea that I may have seen Lucien and his lady friend having fun.
“Why were you waiting for me, Miss?” George asked as he began to carefully bring out the things he bought from the bags.
I hurriedly went to help him.
“I wanted to go shopping today with Valentino, my driver. I want to plan a party but I don't know where I can get the things that I need.”
“Oh, and if you had told me you were going grocery shopping yesterday I would have woken up earlier to go with you,” I added.
I certainly did wish I went grocery shopping with him than walking into what I had seen earlier.
“I didn't know I would be going grocery shopping today myself,” he replied, making me frown.
So he was asked to go this morning?
“George,” Lucien called out from where he was seated.
The woman was already seated on his lap with her laps straddling him.
They looked ready to go again with the way she was grinding up at him.
One of Lucien's hands was inside her blouse as he continued to speak.
George looked up and saw Lucien. His lips thinned and I could see disapproval shooting from his eyes.
“Mr. Thorne, Miss Vaughn,” George replied with a slight incline of his head. An act of respect and greeting.
Seems like George knows Lucien's lover. This knowledge left a bitter taste in my mouth. She isn't new then.
“Miss Vaugn here would be staying for a few days, prepare one of the rooms on my wing for her,” Lucien ordered, distractedly clearly missing the anger shooting from George's eyes.
“Of course,” he answered and hurriedly unpacked the grocery bags.
I didn't know what to feel or say, but I guess he could do whatever he wanted. It was his house after all.
George finished and turned to me barely managing to keep the anger off his face for me.
“I won't be able to take you shopping for your party things. I'll come find you in your rooms when I am done and let you know the best time we could go shopping.”
He walked out of the kitchen after saying this.
I wasn't foolish, I heard the hidden message in there for me as well. He asked that I go to my room.
Miss Vaughn was beginning to make more mewling noises.
I looked up and saw that Lucien had already slid his hands to her p***y.
I sighed and walked out of the kitchen.
I don't know if I can cope here for long.
