Elliott on the other hand put his cellphone down and looked at the eager faces of his brothers looking at him. “She said to tell you that she is still alive, and I could tell you she is still invoking the Act and to f**k off.” They all lost their hopeful looks and deflated almost instantaneously. He shook his head, “No. She invoked the Act just before he was cleared.”
“Has anyone heard from him?” Elliott asked.
They all looked at each other and Blaine said, “Not since Scout warned him off the last time.”
“Good,” said Elliott.
Deacon made a face.
“What is it, Scout?” asked Blaine.
“Uh, Alpha is probably going to hit the f*****g ceiling when she finds out, but Omega has been trying to help Shadow find her,” he said.
