Anastasia looked at Isaac, he shook his head. "I don't have that kind of relationship with people i don't love Isaac." Hearing that, Isaac nodded with satisfaction. "It would be good if it was like that. That's good." Hearing the man's answer, Anastasia frowned with displeasure, but she did not say anything. "I just want to say, are there any conditions you want to put forward?" asked Isaac later. The woman shook her head. "Nothing. Oh, you can stay in the villa I provided. I will come every now and then so that no one suspects our relationship. Do you mind?" "You can call me if you come to the villa. I have to take care of my mother and sister at home," the man replied. Anastasia agreed, the two then parted at the bus stop. When he returned, Isaac found a familiar car parked in his yard again. The man frowned, he irritably stepped quickly into the House. "Isaac." Mrs. Luther smiled, she led the man into the house with a carefree face. "Have you had lunch? It just so happened that Selene came today." "What did you come for?" Isaac no longer pretends to be friendly. He looked at the woman sitting quietly in his living room chair. "Do you remember what you said last night about my mother?" "Isaac, it was just a momentary emotion. Isn't it your fault you were late yesterday for our blind date?" Isaac sighed heavily. "Come back after lunch." "Isaac, don't be like that," said Mrs. Luther anxiously. "Selene came with a gift to apologize, shouldn't we welcome her well?" Isaac stared alternately at the mother and Selene. He couldn't help but nod. "Okay, whatever mom." "I heard someone gave you a gift last night? Isn't the prize worth more than hundreds of millions of dollars? Can I see it?" Selene asked excitedly. She didn't even bother to hide the enthusiastic smile on his face. Isaac frowned and shook his head. "I refused all the gifts. What are you asking him for?" "What? You turned him down?" The smile that was stuck on the woman's lips immediately receded constantly. She immediately changed her face to anger. "Are you a fool?" "Is that your business?" Isaac asked back. He's really out of patience now. "Go if you just want to make a fuss in my house." "Isaac Luther, I didn't think you were such a pathetic stupid loser man!" exclaimed Selene. She dispelled the previous friendly impression. The woman did not hold back from mocking. "You're pathetic! You're just gonna be in the mud all your life! You're pathetic! Your mother is also a disgusting woman! You'll never get married for the rest of your life!" Isaac sighed heavily. He was still trying to hold back his raging emotions. "You're not welcome in this house anymore." "What? You kicked me out?" Selene asked as if she had just heard a joke. He chuckled sarcastically then threw the box he had brought to the ground angrily. "It's sad, just look! I will never forget what you did today!" Isaac shook his head, but he couldn't think of anything else. He just turned to look at the mother who looked very sad. "Mom, don't think about anything. She's a crazy woman. Don't get too hung up on what he just said." Mrs. Luther sighed, she just nodded helplessly. Seeing his mother's gloomy condition, Isaac then issued a new marriage certificate that he got this morning. "Mom, I'm married." "What?" Mrs. Luther was stunned, she even rubbed her ears for fear of misinforming. "You're married?" "Yes," replied the son. He handed the letter in his hand to the middle-aged woman's hand. "She is my wife." "Anastasia," murmured Mrs. Luther. "She is so beautiful, isn't she the woman who came to our house last night?" "She and I knew each other in the military. Yesterday I accidentally met her and saved him from bad people," the man explained with a smile. "We loved each other for a long time but were hesitant to express it." "Is that why you always refuse blind dates?" asked Mrs. Luther. Isaac nodded. "Yes, I have secretly loved her for the past few years." "I'm sorry for forcing you, I'm just worried. In the future, after mom dies—" "Don't say things that don't make sense," the son interrupted quickly. He looked at his mother with an unfriendly look. "I don't want to hear that word from mom's mouth again." Mrs. Luther chuckled. She nodded in agreement. "Where is the house now? Does she work?" "She lives in the suburbs, not far from where I work," Isaac replied, taking his mother to the dinner table. "She now works as a senior executive at a company. Her career was excellent. She's busy at work right now." "After you received the certificate?" "It's a lot of work. I hope you understand." "Of course." Mrs. Luther nodded, she involuntarily turned into melancholy. "I always wish you could find the person you love and really want to marry. After realizing it, mom actually felt sad. Mom's son is now an adult, he is even married to such a beautiful woman." "Mom, don't make me sad." Isaac is down. He couldn't help the guilt that walled up in his heart. "I will stay here as much as possible to keep you company. So you don't have to think too much." "How could you do that? You're supposed to be with your wife. You're married anyway. It's not good that you keep taking care of an old woman like me. You have to take care of yourself too, Isaac." Isaac was silent, he forced his smile. "I don't mind, neither does Annie. So Mom, don't think too much." "So when can I see my daughter-in-law? I want to try talking to him. She must have been a very nice girl until my eldest son fell in love with her for many years." Hearing this, Isaac fell silent. He was confused as to what to answer. On the one hand, he wanted to please his mother by bringing the middle-aged woman to Anastasia. But on the other hand, Isaac did not want to bother the woman who now had the status of his wife. Anastasia clearly looked like a woman who refused to hang out a lot, and Isaac perfectly understood that she could object if she had to meet her mother in person. As Isaac also knew, Anastasia married him only by mutual agreement with Patriarch Oliver.
