Isaac was silent. He looked at the items Anastasia was carrying. Knowing that she was a member of Oliver's family, Isaac immediately knew that these items were not cheap. “And what are these things for? I mean-”
“Can we talk, Isaac?” Anastasia glanced at Selene and Mrs. Luther. “Mrs. Luther, I'm Anastasia, I'm here to thank Isaac for saving me from the bad guys this afternoon. Can I talk to him for a moment?”
Mrs. Luther looked surprised, but she nodded. “Sure, talk to him as much as you want, Miss Anastasia.”
Anastasia nodded with satisfaction, she led Isaac to the terrace. “Please accept this gift, Isaac. Think of it as a form of gratitude that I can give you.”
Hearing that, Isaac closed his eyes, he couldn't help but feel a throbbing feeling at the bridge of his nose. “Anastasia, let me tell you a few things. I helped you only for the sake of protecting a woman. I didn't have any intentions.”
“I know you are very sincere. But please accept my gratitude.” Anastasia said, coaxing.
Isaac smiled, he shook his head. “I was really just helping out when I accidentally passed by. So please don't make me accept things that I shouldn't. I really don't need any of this.”
In the end, Anastasia didn't manage to give Isaac anything. Even the smallest gift, Isaac did not accept it. At that moment, her cell phone rang. Her grandfather was calling her.
“What's up grandpa?” asked Anastasia after the call was connected.
“Your assistant has sent a video of the man.”
“What video?” she asked confused.
“The man rejected the gift you gave him, didn't he?” Patriarch Oliver asked in a teasing tone. “He's so nice, it would be nice if one of my grandchildren would marry him.”
“Then tell your other grandson to marry Isaac!”
“So his name is Isaac?” The old man chuckled. “Are you sure your brother will marry her? You're my only granddaughter, Annie.”
“Don't upset me!” exclaimed Anastasia. She turned sullen.
“He's a good candidate, Annie. It would be nice if you would marry him. He could definitely be a good match for you!”
“Let me think about it, grandpa.” Anastasia looked down. She seemed to be considering.
The sound of laughter was heard. “I will wait until midnight. If you don't agree, I might have to do some things, Annie.”

Isaac was about to go shopping when he received a call from an unfamiliar number. The man frowned, but accepted the call anyway. “Hello? Is there something I can help you with?”
“With Isaac Luther?”
“Yes, with Isaac Luther here. Who am I calling now?” the man asked politely.
“People call me old Oliver.”
Realizing the identity of the figure on the other side, Isaac was stunned. He was very confused as to what a wealthy person like the old man was willing to contact him for. “Mr. Oliver, is there anything I can help you with?”
“Can you come to the registry office? Bring your identity card with you.”
Before Isaac could ask, the call was cut off by the other party.
The man was silent, but in the end he just complied, immediately going to the registry. He had a two-hour bus ride before he arrived. When he walked from the bus stop, a familiar figure immediately entered his vision. “Miss Oliver?”
“Isaac,” Anastasia called out, she lowered her head in greeting. “Did my grandfather call you earlier?”
“Yes, what is the meaning of this?” Isaac still looked dazed.
Anastasia sighed heavily. “My grandfather was very impressed with your attitude. He forced me to marry you. You know, the older a person gets, the more he worries about unnecessary things.”
“My mom is the same way.” Isaac looked down, he silently nodded in agreement. “So Patriarch Oliver wants me to marry you?”
“Yes, I mean, it's not a real marriage,” the woman explained. “My grandfather really likes you a lot. He was very impressed with your attitude after I told him what you did yesterday.”
“I understand,” Isaac replied. “Alright, let's do it.”
“What?” This time, it was Anastasia who was stunned. “Do you agree?”
“My mom wants me to get married too. I don't want to make her think about unnecessary things.” The man answered honestly. “But am I not embarrassing you with my current status?”
“Don't talk nonsense!” Anastasia exclaimed. “I've never thought about status. As long as your attitude is good, I don't care about anything.”
“Alright, I understand.”
The two walked together toward the registry office. But before actually entering, Anastasia stopped Isaac. “Are you sure? I mean, you can find a woman you really want to marry. If you regret-”
“I won't regret it, Anastasia,” Isaac interrupted. “There's no need to worry.”
“This marriage is just an agreement between me and my grandfather, you don't have to take this marriage too seriously,” Anastasia said then. “It doesn't matter if you want to have another woman in the future.”
Isaac just nodded lightly. “Alright. Anything else?”
Anastasia nodded, she reached into her bag and pulled out a key. “I have a villa at the corner of the city. It's not far from the hospital where you work.”
“No need. I-”
Not wanting to hear the man's refusal any further, Anastasia forced the key into his palm. “Accept it.”
Seeing Anastasia's face that seemed unwilling to accept any rejection, Isaac in the end just nodded helplessly.
The two then registered their marriage at the civil registry. The process was done quickly, even Isaac never imagined that it would be this quick. In just half an hour, his status changed from single to married. Moreover, his marriage partner was the daughter of the famous Oliver family. Anyone would not be able to imagine that.
“Ah I have to go.” Anastasia turned around, but Isaac held her arm gently. “What's wrong?” she asked.
“I want to talk about some things. It won't take long.”
Anastasia finally reluctantly agreed. “Sure, let's talk about it now.”
“I exchanged contacts,” the man took out his cell phone, handing it to Anastasia. “Put in your cell phone number. And I expect you to cooperate with me when my mom asks about our relationship. You don't need to make direct contact with my mom. As long as you don't do anything bad to her, I'll be very grateful.”
“I understand,” Anastasia replied. She returned Isaac's cell phone after writing down some numbers of her own. “I don't like treating others badly. You just take it easy.”
“Okay.” The man nodded happily. “I'll also give you 3000 dollars every month.”
“You don't have to,” the woman said. “You really don't need to do that.”
“I really hope you'll accept, Annie.”
Anastasia looked a little unhappy, but she finally nodded slowly. “Okay, I understand. Is there anything else?”
“Regarding s****l i*********e, what do you think?”
