"I don't think I fancy that idea, Christian." I stood up from the couch Christian and I sat on, to grab a soda from the fridge. "Come on Anna, it's a Friday night." Christian said. "I know it's a Friday night and you of all persons know how I feel about parties." I told him, whilst opening the soda in my hand. "It's just a one time thing. I'm not asking you to do this on a regular Anna. I'm just trying to brighten your mood after the conversation with your father." Christian said. "My father or not Christian, I don't want to be commanded by my emotions. Just because my father and I had our usual non-friendly encounter doesn't mean I should drink and go to a party I know no one." I told him as a matter of fact. "I'll be there also." Christian said and I let out a scoff. "You're not listening to me Christian..." "I'm listening to every word you say Anna." Christian cut me off. "And to make it even better, just cause I know it's not your type of scene and wouldn't want people to see you there, it's a mask party." Christian told me. "Even at that Christian? I'm still not going." I stood my ground and Christian went silent for a while. "Look at me Anna." Christian stared at me vividly. "I would never want bad for you. It's just a party, no one is going to know you're there, you'll be with me all through, all you just have to do is attend and feel better from the worries of your heart." Christian said. "Worries of my heart, welldone shakesspare, I see what you did," I couldn't help but chuckle at Christian's words, and he did also. "I mean it, Anna. I just want you to be happy. It's just a one time thing and if you don't still like the atmosphere, I promise we'll leave." Christian told me, and honestly, I began to have a change of heart, as I exhaled lightly. "I promise." Christian added. "You're just lucky you're my only friend, else I wouldn't go." I said to Christian and I watched him chuckle loudly. "And, I'm proud to be your only friend." Christian smiled. "I don't have a mask." I put my hand on my waist, giving Christian a very good reason, while I thought we should reconsider going to the party. "Oh, don't worry about that, I've got you covered darling." Christian said with a light smirk. "Ugh, how I thought you were going to say, we shouldn't go." I rolled my eyes. "Rather, let's get ready, shall we?" And with that, Christian winked at me and I knew there was no going back now. ——————— "Are you sure no one can tell it's me," I adjusted the white flowery mask that covered just my eyes and nose, whereas Christian who stayed beside me, wore a black mask, that covered his entire face. "No they can not. To make you feel even better, the party is by invite alone. So, not just anyone would be here. It might be wild, but I assure you, you're safe." Christian says and I let out an exhale of relief. My gaze wondered the room, as music filled each corner, whereas people I can not recognize, all with their masks dance erotically, either by themselves or with the opposite gender. Drinks were flying around very easily, as it was convenient for anyone who wanted to be in the mood to do just that. I, of course didn't plan on taking anything this night, for I wanted to be in my right senses. "Do you care for a drink?" Christian who stayed by my side asked. "No, I'm fine." I nodded my head negatively, while I watched both genders exhibits acts of intoxication that one could tell, they were having their fun. I won't deny, it did feel good to see something different than what I was used on a daily basis. "How about a dance then?" Christian now stared at me from the masks we both wore. "I don't think so Christian...I don't know how to dance." I told Christian honestly. I didn't know how to dance to save even my life. "Pick one then, either a drink or a dance." Christian said, and I knew he was giving no room for debate. "A drink then." I finally gave in. "I'll be right back." Christian said and left my side, leaving me all alone to witness the erotism that took place in front of me. Thankfully, before I knew it, Christian was back and handed a glass of alcohol. "Thank you." I smiled at him, before taking a sip of the drink and I instantly knew it was tequila. "Christian!" My gaze moved away from the crowd I was beginning to enjoy dancing, when I heard Christian's name being called beside where we both stood. Christian slid his head sideways, as though trying to recall the person in front of him, who had called his name. My brows furrowed under the mask I wore, seeing a girl in a black mask, and a black short gown, with an exposed cleavage looking all excited to see Christian. "It's me. Vera!" Her voice loud and filled with excitement as she tugged Christian's arm. "Oh Vera! I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you earlier." Christian now with the same excitement, with whom I heard her name to be Vera. "It's fine." Her voice filled with excitement even with the loud music. "I've missed you. Do you mind, can we talk?" Vera said and I watched Christian nod his head negatively. "I'm sorry, but I came with someone..." "No... it's fine. It's fine Christian, you can go with her." I cut Christian mid way his sentence. It seemed he and this Vera knew each other or had a history and I couldn't be selfish of not wanting to be alone and let him still stay by my side. "No Anna, I don't want to leave you all alone here," Christian tried to refuse. "I'll be fine Christian. Moreso, I know you'll be back. You two go ahead. I'll be fine." I sent a smile to Christian who still looked at me hesitantly, nevertheless, he left with Vera. Now, I was just left all alone. As much as I didn't want to be selfish, it still felt awkward being all alone. I sipped my tequila even more, and soon enough, I started to feel the alcohol get into my system, that I began to move my body. I who wasn't excited to come for this party, began to get more interested as adrenaline began fueling inside me and my body started to feel alive. From where I stood, I felt a masculine body press against me from behind, with hands on my waist, caressing and touching me erotically. I don't know if it was the alcohol or something else, but unlike me and not knowing who the person was, I began dancing with a total stranger, till the extent I began to feel his lips drop kisses along my neck and pull me even closer to him. My heart stared beating faster, as though I wanted this unfamiliar man to keep touching me. The hairs on my skin rose, along with a sudden urge of arousal I couldn't tell why I was feeling. In a brief instant, I push out every erotic feeling that swept into my body, as I turned to look at the stranger who touched me. My gaze met with an unfamiliar guy, with a white mask, similar to mine, with a mischievous smirk on his lips. "Come on baby, I could tell you were enjoying my touch." He said, whereas disgust instantly filled me from just his words and looking at him. He was short, not even the kind of man, I would be attracted to, and from how he spoke, I could tell, he was fully drunk. I didn't bother saying another word to him, rather, I pushed myself and left the space where I was. My eyes was beginning spin, not to talk about the deep arousal I was suddenly getting. I just needed to get out of here. What the hell was in that tequila? And where was Christian for God's sake? But I couldn't find the exit, or rather my brain couldn't comprehend anything anymore. Thankfully, I saw a staircase that I believe led to a more quiet environment. I took the stairs, trying hard to compose myself as, when I got up, all I found were a bunch of room doors. My heart started beating fast, my body seemed not in control of itself anymore and I had to close my eyes to try and find some sort of control. "Are you alright?" I heard from behind me, taking me to turn and see a tall handsome man that stood behind me. "Yes...yes..." I couldn't complete my words, when I lost my balance and almost fell, but surprisingly I feel into the arms of a masculine touch instead. "I don't think you are," I don't know if it was my ears, but his voice sounded so seductive and husky at the same time that I found something building down below my abdomen. "A pretty woman like you should be careful out here," He added, whereas I wondered how he would know if I was pretty or not. I turned my side, only for me to find out that my mask had fallen off from the fall. "You don't need to be scared, I'm not going to hurt you." He spoke, just as he noticed I had just found out about ny mask. "You're safe." He nodded his head at me. Unlike the previous guy I had encountered with, there was something different about the man in front of me, that got all of my senses out of my head, and instead of me to be scared, desire was what filled me. And before I knew what I was doing, I pulled this man to me, with my lips now entangled with his.
