Kristen closed her eyes for a few seconds and opened them again. Nothing changed. She was back in the same room where she woke up after her k********g. One of the things she had learnt was that she was here because they wanted to drag down her friend Cassandra. The only question that kept bouncing around in her head was to understand and know what they wanted from her sweet friend and why Brian had changed sides. She could not find a legit answer to justify these questions.

Iris, whom she remembered seeing in the office earlier, had brought her a tray with food purchased from a convenience store or a grocery store. Both the bags and the water bottle were not opened. She felt confident in consuming them.
