She didn't realize it was an hour before she has to be at school so she just laid there, trying to mentally get herself together for about 20 minutes when there was another knock at the door again. This time she knew it was Jackson so she got up and went to the door.  ''What do you want,'' yelled Winter! Jackson said, ''Winter, it's 7:25 school starts at 8:30 and we're gonna be leaving 7:50, so I would get my ass to moving it now if I was you''. Jackson leaves Winter's room and she closes the door. Winter ran to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. After she was finished she proceeded to brush her teeth, wash her face and put her hair in a ponytail. She left the bathroom went to the closet to get some clothes and shoes for the day. She put on some light makeup, grabbed her book bag and cell phone then exited her room.        When Winter got downstairs and walked in the kitchen she saw everyone, seated at the breakfast table eating. ''Good Morning everyone,'' said Winter as she sat down. ''Good Morning Snow,'' everyone said. As Winter grabbed a bowl, poured her cereal, milk, a banana and sat down to eat Jackson said, ''what are you doing it was time to go...it's's 7:50. You got to bring that with you and I'll take it back home''. Winter got up, kissed her parents and said goodbye to everyone then left for school.          Winter got in Jackson's whip and they pull of enroute  to school. When they pulled in the parking lot Jackson told Winter, ''I'll be here to pick up you up at 5:30...Be ready please. ''I'll try bruh; hope for the best but expect the worst; see at 5:30'' said Winter. She gave her brother a hug, got out of the car and walked over to her friends. Rolling the passenger window down he yelled, ''yall have a good day,'' then pulled off. ''Good Morning Snow, you're here early today,'' said Frank. ''Yea, Jackson picked me up yesterday after detention and asked me why I was so late and I couldn't think of nothing quick and convincing so I had to tell him the truth about it. So he said he was gonna start bringing me and picking me up from school'', said Winter. ''Damn Snow, you know how Jackson is about  education; he don't play,'' said Zoey. ''Oh, please don't remind me,'' said Winter.       The bell rang so they all got up, walked into building and went to there lockers. Winter and Wyatt saw each other and spoke. ''Winter, how you doing today,'' asked Wyatt? ''Oh, everything is peace; hopefully all goes well today,'' she said. ''Wow, you here early today even before the bell rang! What's up with that,'' said Wyatt. ''Yeah, Ms. Johnson gives her detention for a whole week. Ain't that some s**t man? So my brother brings and picks me up,'' said Winter. ''Well, if you want you can drive along with me. You know I don't live too far from you; starting tomorrow I can stop by your house and bring you to school with me,'' said Wyatt. ''Okay, I just gotta ask my big brother first and I'll  get back to you,'' she said. ''Alright yo; lets get in class before Ms. Johnson gives you another week of detention,'' he said.              Wyatt and Winter walked in Ms. Johnson's class surprising her. She said, ''what a surprise to see you Winter in class not just on time but you're early this morning. This' how you should be coming in everyday. Yes ma'am Ms. Johnson, I'll try my best to be on time for now on. I don't like getting detentions; when it's all week,''  she said. Ms. Johnson unconvinced said, ''Yeah I here you; we'll see''. As the bell rang Ms. Johnson began class. She said, ''everyone who did their homework, take it out and pass it up front please? Everyone passed there assignments up and then started there drill. Class went by so fast it was over before the students all knew it, the bell rang.           Time went past so fast in Ms. Johnson class lunchtime would be soon but first Mr. Longberg's AP Algebra class and after that would be time for lunch so after class she went to her locker to get her wallet. ''Hey Winter, you going to lunch; hold up let me catch up. We can walk together,'' said Wyatt. ''Sure that'll be cool Wyatt; let me get my wallet out my locker,'' said Winter. ''Wait, don't worry about it. It's on me, come on and let's eat,'' said Wyatt. ''You sure; you don't have to do that for me,'' said Winter. ''Sure no problem I got you,'' he said and they went to the cafeteria. ''Come on over here Wyatt. Lets chill over here so we can build,'' said Winter. ''Umm...Give me a cheeseburger and fries with a bottle of water please,'' said Winter.          Wyatt left the table to get in the lunch line. Winter went to the table where her friends were sitting; their favorite lunchtable. ''Hey, what's up yall,'' said Winter. ''Ain't nothin'you know how we do what up Snow,'' said everyone at the table. ''How are you doing so far today,'' Abigail asked Winter? ''It's been good; just wish that school would hurry up ; I keep having this headache. I've had it since this morning,'' Winter said. ''Damn you still  got it? Maybe you just hungry,'' said Abigail. Wyatt came over with their lunch trays. 'Sup' yall what's good,'' Wyatt said. ''Ain't nothing you know we do,'' everyone said. You had a hard day and you got here on time? Girl, you know your brain ain't used to that,'' said Blake and everyone started laughing. Winter asked, ''Wyatt why don't you get your book bag and come eat over here''? He said, ''Cool I'll be right back''. Once he got back they all began to eat and conversate until the bell rang. Everyone got up and exited; going their separate ways. It was time for Mrs. Bond; Winter's favorite class. She teaches AP Physics and Winter has so much fun in her class; time always went by fast.           She entered class and sat at her desk by the back window. ''Good Afternoon class! Take out your textbook, turn to page 180 and read from 180 to 195. On each chapter answer the questions at the end. What you don't finish in class will be homework to be turned in tomorrow,'' said Mrs. Bond. Winter started reading as everyone else did as well. Winter was on page 186 when the bell rang.                 ''Okay, class see you tomorrow and be ready to discuss the answers to your homework,'' said Mrs. Bond. Winter's last two classes went very well. An educationally productive day. A day as such made Winter wished she could go straight home but now it was time for her to go to detention with Ms. Johnson. All Winter wants to do is go home. As she entered Ms. Johnson room for detention she began to feel an agonizing sharp pain to the temple of her skull but she didn't let anyone notice. Ms. Johnson said, ''everyone open up your notebooks and start on your assignments that you have''. Winter started on her Physics homework by reading.                When she finished reading; next was answering the questions until she was completed. Winter's crown was pounding as if ten heavy metal guitars were blaring in her ears. Once finished her homework she rest her head down on her desk because her head was still hurting badly. As she rest her head; the pain began to ease up slightly. Tears streamed down her face as she closed her eyes. She felt someone tapping her on her shoulder. Eyes barely opened, she lifted her head up and faintly said, ''yes Ms. Johnson''. ''Winter, if you don't mind me  asking but why is your head down young lady,'' Ms. Johnson said sternly. ''I'm sorry Ms. Johnson but I'm having a splitting migraine but my brother is on his way,'' she said. ''Did you finish your homework,'' asked Ms. Johnson? ''Yes, please Ms. Johnson can I just lay my head down until you dismiss us,  asked Winter? ''Sure baby, go ahead,'' said Ms. Johnson.               Winter put her head back down until Ms. Johnson tapped her on the shoulder but only this time to let her know it was time to go home. ''I hope you feel better Winter. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow,'' said Ms. Johnson. ''Yeah me too Ms. Johnson,'' Winter retorted. She gathered her belongings then left the classroom. As she got to the front door her vision got blurred but mustered the strength to be able to see well enough to open the door and go outside to look for her brother.                 With blurred vision Winter had made it to the benches. She couldn't see Jackson so she mind linked him. ''J help me,'' she said in a low voice.  Winter's tone sounded peculiar to Jackson. ''What's wrong Snow,'' asked Jackson with concern? She said, ''I can't...I can't see, please help''! ''He asked, ''Where are you,''! ''In the front of the school on the bench; you'll see me,'' she said as she also drops her phone and laid across the bench unexpectedly exhausted. Jackson finally saw Winter, got out of the car and ran over to her.                 Blowing in Winter ear Jackson called her name. He said, ''snow...snOW...SNOW''!!!!After being unresponsive he then began to shake her body and slapped her face. Waking up groggy she said, ''okay...okay I get it, I'm woke. I couldn't hear you. I don't know what's wrong with me Jackson. I feel so weak, help me''. He picked her up and took her to the car. He leaned Winter up against the car while he opened the passenger side door and helped her get in. Once he put her seatbelt on he got in the driver's seat and they left the school.             As Jackson was driving home he mind linked his dad. ''Dad, something is wrong with Winter. I picked her up from school and when I got there she see couldn't see.  She's laying down  in the backseat,'' said Jackson. ''Jackson, where are you,'' asked Winter? ''I'm here baby girl; I'm driving us home,'' said Jackson. No, ''Jack take her the hospital and we'll meet you there,'' said Peter. When they reached the pack hospital Jackson parked the car, opened the door, grabbed Winter  from out of the back seat and carried her into the hospital. In a groggy voice Winter said, ''Jackson where are we; are we home yet''? ''Naw, baby girl, Dad told me to take you to the hospital instead of home and they'll be here very soon,'' said Jackson. What's wrong with me Jackson,'' she asked? ''I wish I knew Snow but we'll find out,'' he said with a concerned look on his face.              Jackson went to the front hospital door to meet the family. When everyone came into the hospital Winter said, ''Daddy help me''! ''Snow we are baby; just calm down, be patient, said Peter''. Dr. Stevenson told Peter to follow him to another room. Winter's father carried her in the Beta room and laid her down on the hospital bed. ''Daddy help me please I can't see,'' said Winter. ''We know baby, but you're at the hospital now with trained staff that's gonna make sure you get better. Dr. Stevenson is here and the family,'' said Peter. Dr. Stevenson checks her vital signs and they were normal. He looked into her eyes to check for signs of symptoms. ''Oh no, Winter did you shift yet,'' asked Dr. Stevenson? ''No, not yet,'' said Winter. ''Why did you ask that , Doc,'' asked Peter? ''Her wolf is trying to come through, that's why she can't see. Did you have a headache today,'' asked Dr. Stevenson? She answered, ''Yes, all day''.             ''Just rest; the nurse will be in to get you a warm cloth for your eyes. Your father  and I will step out for a minute, said Dr.Stevenson. They left the room and walked to where the rest of the family were. ''Dad, what's wrong with her,'' asked Aaron? ''Aaron your sister's vision is gone for now because she hasn't shifted yet,'' said Peter. ''So she needs to shift to see again,'' he asked. "Yes son thats it,'' said Dad. ''Well she should be shifting so we hope,'' said Jill. ''Dr. Stevenson, what do we do? Take her home and help her get around? If she goes to school she'll need help,'' Jackson said. Dad let Jackson go with her until this is over,'' said Aaron. All of the sudden Alpha and Luna came in the door. We wanted to see what's wrong with Winter,'' asked Alpha Raymond? ''Her vision is gone and Dr. Stevenson says it's because her wolf hasn't shifted yet,'' said Peter.             ''Poor baby; so what we're going to do? Just help here until she shifts? I hope it will be soon said,'' Luna Cynthia. ''Dr. Stevenson when can she leave,'' asked Divine? ''In a few hours she can go. Let me go check on her now,'' said Dr. Stevenson then he walked away. ''Sweetie lets go so we can get the pack house ready for Winter,'' said Alpha Raymond and they left. Winter will be staying home for awhile,'' said Peter. ''Dad, when are you going to contact the school,'' asked Emily? Tomorrow morning when the Dean gets in.           Dr. Stevenson went in the room and saw Winter asleep. He woke her up and said, ''Winter you can go home soon. Your sight will come back once your shift is complete,'' said Dr. Stevenson. ''When I was a boy my great grandfather use to tell me stories about pure white wolves,'' he said. Can you finish Dr. Stevenson,'' asked Winter. ''Yes, as I was saying Winter, that my great grandfather told me stories about pure white wolves. Winter if I'm not mistaken your wolf will be pure white  with light blue eyes. Over 20 or 30 years ago there was pure a white wolf born that was very powerful that could control all four elements and control all creatures that are pure white but we won't know until you have shifted,'' said  Dr. Stevenson.                ''All five of your senses you will lose and then get them back once you shift, but until then you will lose them one by one,'' said Dr. Stevenson. ''So your saying that she'll wake up and won't be able hear, smell, taste or touch,'' said Jill. 'Yes, she might shift on her birthday in three months or next year on her eighteenth birthday but she will shift before her 21st birthday,'' he said. ''What if she meets her mate while she's like this,'' said Jill. ''My professional advice would be to always be truthful and just explain to him what has happened; hopefully he will under stand,'' said Dr. Stevenson. Winter bust out crying and said,''my mate won't want me''!  ''You can take her home now; just  keep a close eye on her,'' he said. Peter and Jill helped Winter down off the hospital bed. They walked out into the waiting room where the rest of the family were updating them of the latest happenings. Peter and Jill received Winter's discharge papers from the hospital then they all left the pack hospital for  home . A knock on the door. ''BANG BANG"!!!
