Ocean eyes

Victor's POV I walked into the school with a smile on my face. I probably looked like a young kid in junior high school, giggling around the compound. Rose, someone who made me smile like a fool. The most stubborn girl I've ever met. That night when i heard her singing, and trashed her singing brought her into my life. Her singing was not that bad, but I had my own problems and her singing did not help. So I shut her up. It was no much of a big deal but God knows, this girl can form a lake out of a drop of water. My pretty miss grumpy, can not wait to tease her today. When I called her beautiful yesterday it was not a joke, she is actually very beautiful. And with that blush. Oh my God she was breathtaking. I walked into the class, and there she was little miss attitude. She was narrating something exciting to her friend, what her name again. Oh I forget her friend's name. I had never seen Rose this excited. Normally, she has something to piss her off, or to be angry about or complain about. But today she spoke happily. I was about to pass by the empty seat next to her and sit elsewhere. God as my witness I can not sit with Cleo again today, she offered me a whole menu of hell yesterday. I wanted to give Rose the space she asked for, but some part of me, the rebellious one decided against it. And ... After yesterday's interaction I do not think she still needs that much space right now. So I sat right to her left and smiled, "What are we discussing?" I asked cheerfully. Rose turned and glared at me, what now I thought we were cool. I smiled at her ignoring her angry glare. The English teacher entered so we all turned our attention to the teacher. *** The lesson took longer than we expected, maybe because I could not wait for the teacher to move out so I could tease my little miss attitude. I glanced at her and she looked all absorbed in the lesson. I scanned her facial structures, God she is beautiful. Her pink lips were really kissable. I gulped hard at the thought that had crossed my mind. I shook my head, I had to get a hold of my self or I may have to answer to myself. I looked at her again and this time our eyes met, I looked into her eyes. They had a shade of blue, she had those eyes they called ocean eyes. I realized I was staring but I did not look away. I could not look away, her eyes held me captive. It felt like the world around me was fazing out, the teacher's words felt like they were at a very long distance. I did not look away and neither did she. Then 'ding ding' the bell was sounded. And just like that it pulled me out of my creepy stare. I shook my head in disbelief, did I just stare at her for that long. And why could I not break it. †††† Rose's POV I shook my head, that was intense. It was a never ending gaze, I kinda enjoyed it, getting lost in his beautiful eyes. "Okay guys do not forget to do the assignment, till next time" said the teacher as everyone organized to move out. I was sort of frozen. We had just shared a moment with Victor, as in Victor O'Roberts. When our eyes met, I could not look away. I was held captive. Everything felt like it disappeared just by looking in his eyes. And it felt right. God, I should stop thinking this much. This was not good for me. Especially if the person I was thinking about was none other than the famous Victor O'Roberts. "Hey, we got to hurry up for the break" Nickie said pulling me out of my thoughts. I organized my books and stood up ready to go, to my surprise Victor did not stop me or do anything to tease me. We moved to the cafeteria, Nickie was narrating some story possibly school gossip. About some girl who was found in the boy's bathroom with a boy. I did not really get the story well, my brain was filled with one person. And that person was Victor O'Roberts. We grabbed our breakfast and moved to our seats. Nickie was still narrating her stories to me, I did not make much of it so I decided not to concentrate. "Seriously! Who does that?" She said finally as we sat. I c****d an eyebrow at her clearly not understanding what she was saying. I was not really paying attention to her at all. "Who does that?" She repeated. "Huh!? I don't know" I replied absent mindedly. "Are you even listening to anything I'm saying" she crossed her arms and leaned back into her chair. "Uhm..." I could not find the words to use to defend my self so I just kept quite. "You really are annoying" she complained and dived into her food. She was angry with me and I could tell. "Look! I'm sorry, it's just a lot on my mind lately" I told her as I squeezed her arm sweetly. "I do not understand you at all, I'm worried about you." She said and continued, "you keep spacing out, it kinda scares me" "I'm sorry I made you feel that way but I promise to be a better friend " I smiled at her. "Don't forget to tell me if anything bothers you, I'm your friend" she said and mirrored my smile. "Students, an announcement" a voice was heard from the speakers. "Next Saturday evening, we shall have a basketball match with a team from another school" the voice continued to announce. "The school expects you all to come and support our school's team, thank you" the announcement was concluded. Everyone in the cafeteria started murmuring something to each other while I and Nickie continued eating. I'm glad she is my friend atleast. "Hey little miss attitude" I did not need to turn to recognize his voice. Of course it was Victor, he sat besides me and his friends sat across us. "Hi guys!" Said Pete and Griffen simultaneously. "Hello!" We replied simultaneously as well. "So are you coming to watch us play next Saturday!" Victor asked me. Was he inviting me to their basketball game. ††††
