The moment I stepped through the Raven Portal, the world around me changed. It wasn't like the forests or lands I'd ever known. Everything was strange. The sky had no stars. The air was cold, yet it burned my skin. Darkness swallowed everything—endless and thick like smoke. There was no sun. No moon. Just... void.
I took a step forward. My foot sank into the black ground, which felt soft like ash. I looked back, but the portal was already gone.
