  Adolfa's POV   The sky above me was black, swirling like a cursed storm. The gates of the Demon Kingdom stood tall and twisted, carved with screaming faces and symbols older than time. I stepped forward, my cloak dragging across the scorched ground. Each step made the earth hiss beneath my boots, but I didn't flinch.   I had already claimed the first force from the Spirit World.   Now, I had come for the second force.   The gates opened with a groan, without me needing to touch them. A foul wind blew out to greet me—thick with sulfur and heat. The Demon Kingdom didn't welcome visitors, but it would welcome me. Whether it liked it or not.
