My eyes slowly opened, and I found myself lying in a bed. The white walls surrounding me indicated that I was still in the hospital.
"Olive," a familiar voice called out. I turned my head and saw Leo sitting on a wheelchair, looking worried.
"Thank goodness you're alright," he sighed in relief.
"What's wrong with me?" I asked, sitting up slowly. The last thing I remembered was Melanie pushing me to the floor.
Leo had a smile on his face, which made me wonder why he was so happy. "Could it be that I'm dying?" The thought suddenly crossed my mind.
He paused, looked up, and said, "You're pregnant, Olive." But his words sounded strange to me.
"What do you mean pregnant?" I questioned, hoping that he would tell me it was a joke. However, Leo's expression remained serious and unwavering.
