" Baby, I know what I am about to say…" Eve had to pause because Richard's phone started ringing.
Richard was annoyed by it ringing because it was ruining this moment when Eve was supposed to tell the truth. He quickly hung it up.
" I am so sorry my dear, please go on," Richard apologised for the interruption.
" Okay," Eve said before signing out loudly. Her heart was beating so hard and she was just pushing herself through the entire conversation. She wished that there was another way around it in that she did not have to tell the truth.
