After the memory played in my head I had taken back control
from Neo. Her lips were to die for. The way we kissed seemed to only add fuel
to the fire burning down below. I found I was hard as a rock. I see her eyes
were still closed so I started to inch her down onto the top of the bed ever so
gently. For years I have wanted to kiss her. I poured all my yearning into kiss.
After what seemed like a lifetime without air she slowly pulled away. Laying
her head to mine while still embracing me I heard her sigh contently, then she
spoke. “Thank you, Neo, at least now I won’t have to wander what Jake would
have tasted like, and I will have something to hold onto from you.” It tore me
into pieces for her to feel this way. I wish I could just come clean and have a
normal mate courting with her. Ever so slowly her eyes opened. I looked at her
with nothing but love. Here eyes just held embarrassment. After she fell
asleep, I made my mind right then and there I would only peruse her my angel,
even if I can’t do so for real publicly just yet, so I cuddled up to her once again
and buried my nose into her neck. That is how I drifted off to the best night of
sleep thus far.
The next morning when I woke up, I went to find the omega I had spoken to
last night. As she said she would be she was in the kitchen. “Good morning
Ms., Mollie do you have prepared what I asked of you last night?” “Yes Alpha!”
she said as she disappeared further into the kitchen. After a few minutes she
came back out with a huge tray filled with things. “Ok, Alpha Mason, here is
breakfast for the Luna, I wrote it all down for you so our chefs back at Opal
Moon can make the same. She always has one Venti iced caramel macchiato
extra caramel and three extra shots of espresso, as for food, she always has
bacon, cheese toast, red eye gravy, and for fruit a small cup of strawberries
and cream. I looks and seen there was enough servings for two. I thanked her
and headed back to Rainis room. Once I got there, I slowly opened the door
and found she was no longer in bed. s**t! I started to panic. I went ahead
walked into the room the rest of the way. Walked to the living area and just as
I was putting the food out neatly on the table, I seen her emerge from the
bathroom. I smiled at her and watched as her eyes trail from me to the food
on the table. “Umm…...Jake? What’s this?” she asked not able to meet my
eyes, from the smell I am going to go with she was thinking of last night. I
took my hand and put a finger under her chin. I brought her gaze up to mine.
“Love I went to get you Breakfast before we head home today. I did do not
want you to travel on an empty stomach.” Raini looked at me like I had two heads when she heard me call her love. I just smiled. “Look love why don’t we
sit down and eat? I will have my omega come and get your luggage and have
her prepare Nick to load it into the SUV. Does that sound good to you?” I
guess because I was mid mind link with nick as I was talking, I hadn’t seen
that she had indeed moved to sit on the couch. She just nodded at me eyeing
what I had brought in for breakfast. Grabbing the iced coffee she took a long
sip . I did not miss the fact she was eyeing me suspiciously. “Ok Jake spill,
what gives, what’s with the calling me LOVE? Are you just getting ready to play
your role because of last night? Look I didn’t mean to make things weird, I’m
sorry and as far as kissing you….I didn’t know Neo wou……” She rambled but I
cut her off. “First off LOVE,” I said emphasizing the word love. “ I seem to
recall it was me who initiated the kiss both times. Secondly nothing is weird
between us. You have no reason to be embarrassed about what happened
last night. We both enjoyed it. You ma’am are my mate, my best friend, and my
future wife and luna.” A smile formed on her face as I said this. “Yes, last night
had a little to do with me being open to calling you my love but that is what
you are. But it was never because of regret nor weirdness it was because it
was a wakeup call. And against my better judgment and may peoples wish I
am going to explain everything to you. It just must stay with us. It cannot be
discussed in the open after. Ok? As for my words before one the mat….” I was
cut off by Ms. Molly knocking on the door. As she came in, she bowed. “Alpha,
Luna, I came to collect the Lunas belonging to give them to Beta Nickolas?”
As she spoke, I seen Raini shoot daggers at her from the corner of my eye. I
moved to sit beside her to eat. “Love,” “Hmmm,” Raini answered not taking her
eyes off Ms. Molly. “This is Ms. Molly an Omega from our pack. She will be
personally assigned to you from this day on.” “Nice to meet you, Luna.” “So,
have you slept with this one too, because I will not be accompanied by any
harlot you have conquered.” Mine and Mollys eyes almost shot out of our
heads. OH, hell I wish I would have never had any of those rumors spread. “Oh,
gracious no ma’am, I would never…” began Molly almost shaking in fear.
